Stop Junk Mail
Do you hate all the junk mail you get?
There was a news report on yesterday that highlighted this website: Catalog Choice.
Using this site, you can use your customer number (printed somewhere on the catalog) to stop receiving them (or pick and choose which ones you want to keep).
Some of these services are free, and some require a $20 “donation”. With the donation service, you can take your name off all the junk mail lists, so you never get any again.
Ditching catalogs and junk mail not only relieves you of sorting through it and trashing most of it, but conserves paper (therefore trees) and reduces waste substantially. What’s cool about this service is that it shows you how much you personally are saving in terms of trees, greenhouse gases, waste, and water.
