Interesting Point of View
I read this book excerpt for one of my classes, and found it really interesting because it’s an alternate view on agriculture and food production today (alternate to the typical pro-environmental/healthy eating ideologies). The author suggests that there is an “environmental hysteria” going on, where people are being overly cautious about chemical use in agriculture. He mentions that while over use of pesticides is a negative thing for health and the environment, there does not need to be a complete cut off of it.
Moderation, he believes, is the key.
